What We Do

Due to the large size of heavy machinery, faulty radiators are typically removed and brought in separately to the workshop for repairs.

If the radiator requires a re-core, the size is carefully measured and recorded along with other details so an accurate quote can be provided.

Depending on the machinery’s application and environment, options for enhanced performance or durability upgrades can be offered.

Once the quote is approved by the customer, new component parts are sourced and fitted.

A final test is then carried out on the reassembled radiator to confirm everything is in working order.

All parts and workmanship carried out on the radiator is covered by Natrad’s nationwide warranty.

  • What if I need a really big radiator?

    Natrad can source from Adrad’s Australian manufacturing facility where single radiator cores over 2m high and over 3m long can be created to suit extremely large applications.

  • What types of heavy equipment does Natrad supply radiators for?

    Natrad can supply cooling for large trucks, cranes, locomotives, aircraft tugs, agricultural machinery, underground mining vehicles, earthmoving equipment, and many more.

  • Can you supply radiators that last in a corrosive environment?

    Natrad can supply radiators and cores made with a brass fin to resist corrosion. Both automotive style and industrial style radiators can be provided. These are particularly suited to corrosive environments such as underground mining applications.

  • How do you make a radiator last longer?

    Natrad will recommend the best radiator configuration for your application. This might require a brass fin to resist corrosion or a steel fin for hardness. A metal fin facing (that wraps over the leading edge of the radiator fin) can also be applied to strengthen copper fins against impact damage.

  • Can you test my heavy machinery’s radiator?

    A simple pressure test can be conducted on your heavy machinery’s radiator. Locating the source of a leak may require the radiator to be removed and immersed in a test tank.
