- What information do I need to provide to have a custom radiator design supplied?
To get a quote for a custom radiator, you’ll need to supply a sample or a detailed drawing of what you need, as well as the make, model, whether it’s manual or automatic and any modifications that have been made to the original vehicle.
- What design requirements can I choose from?
A custom manufactured radiator can be made with specific dimensions, fin pitch, number of rows, tank design, polish finish and fittings.
- What custom core configurations are available?
The most common configurations are:
40mm radiator core thickness is used for mid-range performance 4 cylinder applications including turbo-charge.
56mm radiator core thickness is used for high to extreme 4 cylinder performance vehicles, 6 and 8 cylinder vehicles up to around 500hp (street and circuit use).
73mm core for extreme horsepower where maximum cooling is required.
- When do I need to consider a custom radiator?
If you have a vehicle that’s been modified and needs a special cooling solution to achieve efficient performance, a custom radiator can solve your cooling problem. Custom radiators can also improve on the OE radiator by providing the durability required for hard-working engines operating in tough conditions.
- What types of vehicles do you supply custom radiators for?
Natrad supply custom radiators for street cars, racing, V8’s hot rods, track race cars, motorbikes, off-road race vehicles, 4WD’s, modified cars as well as classic and vintage cars. Natrad is also a custom radiator supplier for agricultural or commercial applications including trucks and machinery.
- Can you test a custom radiator?
Natrad repair specialists can carry out a simple pressure test on your car’s radiator. The radiator may need to be removed and immersed in a test tank to locate the source of any leaks.
- Where is my custom radiator built?
Custom built radiators are made by the reputable Australian radiator company, Adrad. Depending on the specific requirements of your radiator, it may be manufactured in Beverly, South Australia, or in one of the six manufacturing facilities with the tools and expertise to craft the radiator you request.
- What other cooling components do you supply custom made?
Natrad can supply custom made radiators, intercoolers, oil coolers, fan shrouds and expansion tanks.
