Keep your engine running smoothly with high-quality oil filters
Engine oil is an essential part of your engine. It’s used to lubricate all the moving parts and prevent overheating. Engine oil filters remove metal filings and hard carbon buildup from your engine oil, preventing the damage these contaminants can cause.
If your car oil filters are clogged or not working properly, corroding contaminants in your oil will cause premature wear and tear to your engine. At Natrad, we can supply and install the correct oil filters for your vehicle.

- Do all oil filters fit all cars?
You should always check your manufacturer’s guide, or ask a professional, before replacing any component of your car’s engine. Having said that, most auto filters made for modern cars can be used with any type of oil.

- How much is an oil filter for a car?
The cost of an oil filter replacement for your car depends on the make and model. Most popular modern vehicles will cost around $150 for the oil, oil filter, and labour of service.
- How often do I need to change my oil filter?
This depends on the type of vehicle you drive and how much you drive it. Some vehicle manufacturers recommend changing your oil filter every time you change the oil, while others say to change the filter with every second service.
Check your vehicle’s manual for information about your car or ask your local Natrad technicians for advice.
- How do I know if there's a problem with my oil filter?
If you get any warning lights on your vehicle display, these could indicate a problem with you engine oil or oil filter, and you should take your care to a mechanic as soon as possible.
If you regularly drive in conditions which put more strain on your engine, you may need to change your oil and oil filter more often than the suggested schedule. Conditions which put more strain on your engine include:
- Stop, start traffic
- Towing heavy loads
- Extreme temperatures
- What type of oil filter do I need?
There are two main types of oil filters: spin-on filters and cartridge filters (metal-free). The main difference is that spin-on filters are fully self-contained while the housing for metal free cartridge systems is built into the engine itself.
Your vehicle’s manual will tell you what type of oil filter you need or you can ask your local Natrad technicians for advice.
