What We Do

Our radiator specialists examine your vehicle’s entire cooling system and consider any engine modifications to recommend the most suitable high performance radiator configuration. Upgrade options will be discussed to deliver the optimum cooling performance and desired appearance.

High performance car radiators can receive various custom modifications including changes to the new number of rows, fin pitch, tank design, and finishes. Classic cars can have a copper brass re-core or a complete assembly replacement for their high performance radiator.

Before installing a new radiator, a cooling system flush will be performed to remove old coolant and any loose debris.

Once installation is complete, the cooling system will be filled using quality corrosion inhibitor (with anti-freeze if required). Natrad will get your car back on the road in the quickest time possible.

Can I buy a performance radiator “off the shelf” if I don’t need a custom unit?

Can I fit a high performance radiator myself?
Yes, you can, if you follow the correct installation process. There are important steps that must be taken to properly flush the cooling system before fitting the radiator and perform a stray current check once completed. Failing to complete these steps will void your warranty. Cooling upgrades may involve additional components such as a thermostat, water pump, hoses, fans, and pressure caps. Natrad can advise which ones are necessary for your application.

A simple pressure test can be conducted on your high performance vehicle’s radiator. In order to locate the source of a leak, the radiator may need to be removed and immersed in a test tank.
